For the last week the boys have been upgrading an 18 year old pump control system. They have been busy wiring and programming a control system that enables multiple pumps to run from one variable speed drive switching to direct online enabling multiple pump operations to start without exceeding full load current of the motor on start up. The assistance of our specialist technician Simon, who specialises in programming & automation was necessary to complete this job however both our regular technicians Andrew and Paul prepared the hardware and equipment and then assisted Simon so he could do the programming in a timely and efficient manner.

This upgrade includes the pump shed being online which enables pump shed pressures and flow rates to be monitored from your computer, tablet or smart phone. This also enables any future programming changes to be done remotely and saves a technician coming to site.
